Tell me some good websites to download free e-books?

By the way I’m looking for Arthur Beiser’s “Concepts of Modern Physics”.
It would be better if you tell me some direct link to download it.

You can go to and there will be a search bar where you type in the book you’d like to find.
Good luck!
What you’re talking about is still peer-to-peer file sharing. Go to thepiratebay.org for that, and know that while my personal belief is that the college textbook industry is extremely unethical, and there is nothing that justifies a 1000% markup for a new edition of a book and no reason to feel bad when they lose money gained by fleecing college students, what you are asking is still technically illegal, and brings the scary RIAA problems to the public library where we’ve always enjoyed the ability to freely share information. For that reason, no one should help you, especially on public forums like this.
Instead, I reccomend you find an e-book community, messageboard, IRC chatroom, e-mailing list, etc, and find someone on there who is willing to fire up a server just long enough for you to download off it and then shut it down. A word of warning: most of the free eBook sites out there are marketing tools, so prepare to wade through a lot of spam.
Otherwise, Amazon’s got 15 used starting at 80 bucks,
They also have book previews.
One thing I do for a lot of my classes is buy an old edition of the textbook, and just copy the questions at the end of the chapter from a classmate who has a newer book. Usually that’s literally the only thing that changes, and even if they change the information between editions, I can just use the internet to find whatever’s missing.
book.google.com also contains a lot of previews, although not enough to help you in a class.
