If I want to publish an E-book with somebody, what sort of percentage deal can I expect?

Written by admin on December 12th, 2008

Would it be the same as traditional publishers (I get 10%) or would it be different? If different, how?

Lulu will publish it and only take a 20% cut for themselves.

It really isnt that awfully much more. And when you take into account that thusfar, e books havent turned out to be a huge market, the difference could actually be negative. Selling and promoting e books is a tough thing. And if nobody buys them, the percentage doesnt mean very much. Personally,I would avoid it, and I dont trust Lulu as far as I can throw them. They dont even provide ISBN numbers. Pax - C
