Is selling e-books a profitable business? Have you ever bought one?

I am looking into selling e-books on ebay and/or from a website exclusively for that… is it a good idea? How many of you have actually purchased an e-book? I have & I really enjoy them, because of the instant download/access to them when purchased.

If you have a niche subject and good SEO (search engine optimization) to drive traffic to you it can be profitable. I know one woman who makes about $7,000 a month selling a nursing study guide online. Good luck in your venture.
I personally don’t like e-books. I prefer to snuggle under a blanket on the couch with a good book. Sitting in front of the computer and reading an entire book on screen, is not my idea of enjoying a book. However, that doesn’t mean that others (like yourself) like the immediate access. Just my opinion.
i buy e books online from ebay all time,, Usu. about 1.00- 1.50 a piece.I just like collecting titles
