I am looking into selling e-books on ebay and/or from a website exclusively for that… is it a good idea? How many of you have actually purchased an e-book? I have & I really enjoy them, because of the instant download/access to them when purchased.

What cheap means can this marketing be done?
As i am restricted to only 500 copies but i really want to sell all of them,
My target is the female audience,
It only works on computer.
So what kind of shops would you think be best to sell this product in
