Can a person publish fiction e-books, rather than getting an agent & going through a publisher?

I know I asked this earlier, but I only got 1 answer because the Y!A system was backed up. I need more than 1 person’s help.

Will ClickBank reject you as a publisher if there are too many affiliate links in your ebook?

Is there some kind of max for affiliate links in a ClickBank ebook? To tell you the truth I can’t find anything on it and I have no idea how ClickBank feels about affiliate links within ebooks at all. Thanks.

Do I NEED to have a Publisher for an e-book?

I’m writing an e-book and will be producing the actual book with a pdf program and other applications.

If I set up my own webpage and utilize a download program in order for people to buy my book online - is there a need to have a ‘Publisher’?

Can I set myself up as my own Publisher?
